As one of the measures to promote Odia language, the Odisha Government have been pleased to institute a scholarship named after Vyasa Kabi Fakir Mohan Senapati. The scheme will be implemented as follows:
(1) Students securing more than 90% marks in Odia in Higher Secondary (+2) Examination, conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education (0) will get 'Vyasa Kabi Fakir Mohan Senapati Scholarship', provided they continue their further studies at graduation level by opting Odia as their Honours /Major subject .
(2) The same scholarship will also be available for the students passing B.A.(Arts) with Odia as Honours/Major subject by securing more than 90% marks in the Degree examination, conducted by any of the State Universities and Autonomous Colleges of Odisha.
(3) This is a one-time Scholarship" of Rs 20,000/-only.
