How many questions are asked in the RTO exam? 

RTO Learning license (LL) exam questions follow a multiple-choice question format. A total of 15 driving license test questions are asked, out of which you need to answer 9 questions correctly in order to successfully clear the driver's license test. 

Each of the driving license test questions must be answered within 30 seconds as you move on to the next. Pick the answer that seems most suitable to you out of the choices available. You can't come back and correct previous questions.


General Instructions to the Learning license (LL) Applicant:

  • The applicant will undergo a Computerized Learners License Test
  • In case the applicant fails in the Computerized Learners License Test, the applicant can reappear the test on payment of retest fee and slot booking for the retest.
  • The applicant should come prepared to stay for a longer period for the test in case of system failure, bad weather, or any other unavoidable situations.
  • The question bank for Computerized Learners License Test is available on our website https://www.odishatransport.gov.in
  • The applicant can take the mock Learner License Test at www.parivahan.gov.in
  • The applicant will not be allowed to the premises before 60 minutes of the allowed slot time.
  • In case due to some unavailable circumstances, you are not able to take the test, please reschedule your test, so that other applicants can available the slot
  • Please keep checking the slot availability at earlier dates, and reschedule at your convenience
  • Applicants who already possess either a valid driving license or a valid learner license for a
  • different class are EXEMPTED from the computerized Learner Licence test while applying for a new Learner Licence for a different class.
  • The applicant need not print and need not submit the Application form and payment receipt in hard copy. However, he can show the SMS with the application number to the RTO concerned.
  • If the applicant produces the downloaded digital copy of the appointment slip for slot booking on his mobile, then there is no need to produce the printed copy
  • There is no need to produce an original blood group report at the time of verification of documents for LL.
  • The Applicant must carry a valid original photo ID card for verification of identity by the officials.
  • The candidate must carry the mobile entered in the application as he will receive the password at the test center over the same mobile.
