According to the announcement, students who have applied for a degree at a government-funded technical institution as well as students who have been referred by different academies and are interested in completing an internship or using a laboratory, other academic facilities, or short-term training in areas related to the School of Basic Sciences, Earth, are eligible to apply.
For the winter internship 2022–2023, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar has released a notification.
According to the notification, the students registered for a degree in a government-funded technical institution and the students recommended by various academies who wish to complete an internship or take advantage of lab or other academic facilities or short-term training in the fields related to the School of Basic Sciences, Earth, Ocean & Climate Sciences, Electrical Sciences, Infrastructure, Mechanical Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences and Management, and Minerals, Metallurgical Sciences are eligible.
Tenure:
Not less than three weeks nor longer than four weeks during IIT Bhubaneswar's winter break (Winter Vacation of the institute: 03.12.2022 to 31.12.2022). The internship will be carried out through offline interactions with faculty members (to be decided by the faculty member)
The online application must be submitted before October 31, 2022, at 11:00 PM. After being chosen, a hard copy of the application form must be submitted along with the necessary paperwork, which the student must sign, while starting the internship at the Institute's various Schools.
If possible, hostel housing may be made available to the students chosen for internships in exchange for the payment of the necessary costs. After being chosen for an internship, the application for accommodations should be sent to the dean of student affairs via the academic supervisor and the HOS for approval. The student is required to cover the costs of food and access to other amenities.
