A notification for the hiring of Constables (General Duty) in the BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, SSF, Riflemen (General Duty) in the Assam Rifles (AR), and Sepoys in the NCB has been announced by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).

Through the official website at ssc.nic.in, interested candidates may submit an online application. The deadline for submitting an application is November 30, and the online application process began on October 27.

Age Limit
The age of the applicant must be 18-23 years as on January 1, 2023.
Educational Qualifications
The candidates must have passed Matriculation or the 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/University.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Pay Scale
Pay Level–1 (Rs18, 000 to 56,900) for the post of Sepoy in NCB and Pay Level-3 (Rs 21,700-69,100) for all other posts.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will consist of the Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination (DME/ RME), and Document Verification.
